We have been busy ensuring that our premises are Covid-19 Response Approved, and we have also made some changes to how we are going to operate after reading our member’s survey responses. Below is a summary of what is available but we aim to review this regularly and make changes where appropriate.
PLEASE ARRIVE GYM READY – Showers and changing facilities are limited and should be avoided where possible and bring a water bottle! We do have drinks fountains but they are bottle fill only.

- Monday – Friday 7am-9.00pm
- Saturday 10.30am-6.30pm
- Sunday 10.00am – 5.00pm
Facilities and Activities
- The Gym is open however capacity will be limited to 72 people at a time. At the moment you will not be able to book a place – entry is on first come basis. However, we may introduce this later, if necessary.
- Studio & Spinning classes are operating with a reduced timetable initially and due to strictly limited numbers, you MUST BOOK CLASSES.
- Spin occupancy has been limited to 6 bikes
- Changing rooms, showers, toilets and lockers are available, with some ‘one-way’ routes and social distancing in place however only use if you have to.
- The majority of our equipment on the gym floor is available but some units have been put out of use to ensure social distancing

- Saunas are CLOSED
- NO towels are available
- Drinking fountains are for bottle filling only
- NO bags or towels on the gym floor
- Personal belongings while exercising to kept to a minimum
- NO sharing of gym equipment, unless you can prove that you reside in the same household
Track and Trace
All customers are asked to swipe into the facility so that we are able to assist with any Track and Trace notifications. Staff/ personal trainers and other hirers will also log their attendance.
We are fully compliant with the new guidelines for gyms issued by Public Health England. All staff are fully trained on regular cleaning and ventilation protocols, capacity management and social distancing. Hand sanitiser and disinfectant sprays are readily available. Floor markings and signage will help direct customers.

Hourly touch point cleaning by staff, regular antiviral fogging, cleaning stations, hand sanitiser and increased presence of contractual cleaners during peak hours.
Currently we are operating at reduced hours, this is in order to have more staff available during peak hours for cleaning purposes.
Yes, although due to the sites size and ventilation the main gym has a maximum capacity of 72 people at one time and no you do not have to book, however due to occupancy levels this could change at a later date.
As it stands at the moment there is no maximum length of stay. However, we are recommending members to keep their stay brief to ensure that other members get an opportunity to use the gym.
No, it is not recommended that you wear a mask during exercise, however, if you feel more comfortable wearing a masks while in other areas of the club then you are welcome to do so.
We would be notified by track and trace and a deep clean of the facilities would take place.
The majority of our kit is still available, however, due to current social distancing measures some equipment has been put out of use in order to comply.
Yes, we are encouraging members to arrive gym ready and avoid using the showers and changing rooms where possible.
As personal belongings can carry harmful bacteria, other than a water bottle, no personal belongings are permitted on the gym floor, including towels.
No. The only person/persons you should be breaking the 2 metre distancing rule and sharing equipment with are those from your household. Please note you may be asked to provide proof of address if you are seen to be sharing equipment.
The maximum capacity for all 3 of our group exercise spaces is now 7 including an instructor.
No, all Premier memberships have been reduced down to the standard rate.
Due to the restrictions regarding club capacities and the requirements for track and trace, the network has been postponed temporarily until restrictions ease.
Yes, however, we ask members to only use them if necessary.
No, due to safety measurement put in place to protect our staff we are currently not accepting cash.
Yes, we offer complimentary freezing of your membership for a minimum of 1 calendar month and a maximum of 6. Please inform us by the 20th of the month in order to action it before your direct debit is processed. We must receive your freeze request by email or in person and we will confirm receipt of this by email – email@example.com

There are many incorrect statements being made about COVID and fitness environments. We explain a few of the common myths below.
REALITY: There is no evidence that COVID-19 can be transmitted through sweat
REALITY: Gyms have always maintained high levels of cleanliness and will continue to do so once
REALITY: COVID-19 can stay on certain surfaces for two or three days HOWEVER these are easily cleaned away and cleaning services have been stepped up
REALITY: There is no evidence that COVID-19 is more transmittable in a hot, humid climate than any other climate
