Chiropractic involves the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of musculoskeletal disorders (bones, joints and muscles), particularly those relating to the spine.

Chiropractors are trained in a wide range of techniques, some of which include spinal manipulation, dry needling, muscle taping, deep tissue massage, active release therapy, muscle stretching techniques, fascial release and exercise rehabilitation.

If left untreated, musculoskeletal dysfunction can interfere with the healthy function of the nervous system (the intricate network of nerves and cells that send messages from the brain and spinal chord to the rest of the body). It can also impair the body’s own healing mechanism.
