According to research by mental health charity Mind, more than half of people are worried about seeing and being near others once restrictions ease.
And a further 46% of people are still worried about catching the virus, even though they’ve had the vaccine.
Because of this we are taking a reserved approach to the lifting of restrictions with the safety and welfare of our staff and members in mind:
All of our machines will be back in use, however we have tried to keep a safe distance between machines where possible, anti viral spray and sanitiser will still be readily available and we urge you to use it before and after using any of the equipment as well as removing any weights you have loaded onto our plate loaded machines & re racking any dumbbells or barbells after use.
Classes have proven popular since we re-opened, and it’s never felt so good to see so many smiling faces after a major sweat-fest! Changes to our existing programme; to provide you with a wider variety of classes to choose from, and we are slightly increasing our class capacity so that more of you can take advantage of the wonderful sessions that we have to offer! Don’t worry, you’ll still have plenty of room and we’ll continue to follow a rigorous cleaning schedule. Our immersive cycling studio will be moving up to 60% of its previous maximum occupancy, the studio and the space will move up to 62% of its previous maximum occupancy.
The saunas in both changing rooms will reopen and although we are not setting a limit on capacity we urge you to use your own discretion when choosing to sit in close proximity to another member.
Premier memberships are set to return, which also means we will be resuming our towel service.
